Dusten's Ear Problem

So I never figured I write about this which it's just not something I would ever have to deal with personal...

To begin with Dusten is my oldest son and he has always had bad ear infections. He would keep them for weeks on end. This was not a good thing because he would have high temps that wouldn't break and then in which made him cranky, moody, and mostly not wanna sleep. Dusten finally got to go see a Ear doctor in June and they scheduled to have tubes put in. While doing so they fount a cyst in the Right Ear which we had to have a  CT scan for and see a specialist.

This past Monday we went to see the Ear specialist Dr Eby at UMC who just agreed with Dr Reed who fount it while putting in Dusten's tubes. He said they will have to remove it. First the surgery will take up to 2 hours. Second the cyst or as he called it the build of skin like a tumor but not cancerous ( THANK YOU LORD...). Third its attached to the Ear drum and the don't know if it attached to the bone but they will have to remove part of the ear drum if need. They will also have to remove part of the ear bone if its damaged that as well. Forth then they'll repair what they can and close up.

Just to say the least it all sounds scary this is not common the doctors say. But after surgery he will have to go threw hearing test and be observed to make sure it's not coming back. OH yeah it can come back. That just makes it worse. So we'll have to make sure that they get and Jesus heals him and this should never come back to haunt my little boy. The Doctor also said that this has been in his ear since birth and that you would have never seen it through just a ear check up for like a ear infection because its behind the ear drum so it will have to be seen by an ENT doctor from here on out.

So regardless of what God puts in my path I am allowing God to use this as a instrument to show others how scary it may be God will take care of it and allow there to be a plan to fix it. So I will update everyone when the surgery will happen and how it goes.. Keep Dusten in your prayers and thoughts...
