Week 1 of Internship

The first week of internship is down.. How was you ask? What did I learn? What did I expect? Did I walk away with a sense of accomplishment? Where the people I work with teach what I needed to know? All these questions I asked myself and other people asked me. I don't know where to start because honestly I am overwhelmed and very happy with my week.

The clinic I worked at was very convent honestly it couldn't have been any better. I was at the clinic in town which took exactly 5 minutes to get to so I love that I don't feel rushed to get there and I Amin a good area. Second everyone at the clinic is amazing I mean that amazing. All very helpful and go out of there way to make sure you feel comfortable and know how to do your job...

So with my first week done and 7 more weeks to go I have learn so much and feel like I've accomplished so much. First I learned the clinic order of draw which was easy because I knew what test they ran in there lab and then what was sent out to the hospital. They have a courier come through twice a day and once after house to pick up blood.

Second I had to learn there routen of hoe they ran they're lab trust me I got in the way and I'm sure it got them off track a few times but I tried to help and take in everything through out the day...

Finally I have learned that this job is a learning job I'll always be learning and training for new things in the medical field . That's because we are always changing and going after new and improved things that will help the company and your skills. So this is all new but I am looking forward to every minute of it.

All this isfum and amazing I feel more accomplished than I ever thought I would..
