Week 2 of Internship

This was my 2nd week on my internship. I love it. I was in the lab all week again. I was suppose to be with a Nurse but that didn't happen. But I hope that they put me with a nurse on Tuesday whenever I go back in. I love the Medical field and there is so much that I still need to learn because I didn't learn everything at Antonelli College. I know that this isn't that hard to do but I don't think I will have a problem catching on and getting it down pat. The people I will come in contact with have problems and I want to be the one that helps make them feel better....

With working in the lab I have learned that just because you're waiting in a room it's not that your waiting on a lab it may be that a doctor is too lazy to get the patient there results in a timely manner. It does take 5 to 15 minutes for some results but some test take minutes to seconds to get your results. Then we enter them and move on to the next patient. So the next time your waiting at the doctors office don't blame the lab think what was the doctor doing that he couldn't get your results. I can't say anything because I've blame the lab so many times it's not even funny...

But I am not searching for employment I am looking everywhere I am not going to leave one door closed I have an idea of where I want to work but if that's not where God puts me then I want be there. So I am applying an places that offer great benefits and in a environment for me and my family. So if you know anywhere at all looking for Medical Assistants let me know. I want to work somewhere in the South but the North isn't out of the picture or even the west coast..
